RE BAR introduces a new body of work by Fabio Hendry, inspired by the built environment, for Max Radford Gallery. The collection draws from rebar nets commonly found on building sites. Rebar, alongside concrete, forms the backbone of our built environment, though it typically remains hidden within architecture. Through this work, Fabio seeks to elevate and rethink these structures, making the often overlooked yet fundamental material visible. He transposes his unique method to these frames, freezing moments of broken and fragmented beauty to create a novel visual language and new functions.
